With years of experience, Sensei Mark is passionate about teaching both beginners and advanced students. Our classes offer the perfect opportunity to develop your karate skills, improve fitness, and learn self-defense, all in a supportive environment.

Our Ashby karate class is held at Ashby School Sixth Form Campus, Leicester Road, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, LE65 1DH.
The Ashby class provides a regular local training option for students who want to learn and develop their karate with Simon Coope Karate School.
Classes are taught by Sensei Mark Barber, 3rd Dan, who has trained and progressed through Simon Coope Karate School himself.
The class runs every Friday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Ashby School Sixth Form Campus.
Students can develop their skills through regular structured training, whether they are new to karate or already have experience.
Regular training gives students the opportunity to continue developing technique and progress through the karate grading system.
Sensei Mark Barber started karate at Simon Coope Karate School alongside his wife, Debbie, and his son, Tom. He has since progressed to 3rd Dan and now teaches the Ashby-de-la-Zouch class.
