Here at Simon Coope Karate School, we offer great opportunities for students to endeavor into Sport Karate, or competitive karate. Many members of the club opt in to train with Wadokai England and a select few of those represent the country each year at the Wadokai European Championships. As well as this, we have two invite-only fight classes that are run by experienced prior European, British and World Champions that students are welcome to train with. We also offer special courses when available and have had some of the best karateka in the world travel to train with our club, such as the likes of Sensei Wayne Otto OBE!

As a club, we attend multiple competitions a year, such as the North East Open Karate Championships in Hartlepool, the English National Kyu Grade Championships and many more.
